Team Tongs

Established in 2019 in historic Strathalbyn, we have a passion for fine food and wine.

A family owned business, our aim is to make Hammer N Tongs the best place to drop in for a coffee with friends, a casual meal, sample local wines, choose from a huge range of Australian made gin, or enjoy a cocktail.

The venue was lovingly restored from it’s previous tenancy as the Commonwealth Bank. We’ve kept the bank’s vault, come in and check it out, its where we have our fantastic selection of local wines.

We searched for the best coffee we could find, and chose Veneziano Coffee. Sustainably sourced beans, certified carbon neutral and expertly roasted.

We source our ingredients locally. Proteins come from local farms we have visited, fruit sourced from hahndorf, pasture raised eggs from Meadows and milk from Fleurieu Milk Company in Myponga.
